Marina Dreeben

Stewardship Coordinator

Marina joined the WEBS team as the Stewardship Coordinator in October of 2024. She grew up in a coastal town in Massachusetts and earned a B.A. in Biology and Anthropology from Brandeis University, where she got involved in community science research. After graduating, she conducted archaeological fieldwork in Southeast Georgia and worked as an environmental educator in Upstate New York. She moved to Portland in January of 2024 in search of a lively, nature-loving city with access to the great outdoors. She spent her first summer in Oregon leading a high school trail crew working to improve trails in Portland city parks, and she is passionate about connecting communities with their local natural spaces.
