Double your impact with our Second Dollar-for-Dollar Matching Gift Challenge this Fall / Winter!
Last year, Friends of Netarts Bay - Watershed, Estuary, Beach and Sea (WEBS) launched our first ever Matching Gift Challenge with the generous support of the Charles A. Becker Foundation*. We received over $20,000 in donations during the last campaign. With the matching $20,000 contribution from the Charles A. Becker Foundation, WEBS was able to expand staff capacity, make significant progress on our goal to expand programming, and further advance WEBS’ mission.
“WEBS has created an educational model around the uniqueness of the Netarts Bay Area. Location and education together can provide a distinctive experience, and we are honored to participate with you in another gift matching campaign."

President
Charles A. Becker Foundation
We are excited to announce that the Charles A. Becker Foundation will once again match donations received by Friends of Netarts Bay WEBS.
This means every donation you make to Friends of Netarts Bay WEBS** between October 15, 2023 and January 15, 2024 is matched dollar-for-dollar, doubling your contribution! We are delighted to again offer this matching gift opportunity – it gives us the ability to expand beyond what’s currently possible with our programs and continue to make an impact within our community.
WEBS sponsors K-6th grade and beyond STEAM* and natural resource school field trips for local students. These learning events were developed in partnership with the Tillamook School District. Your contribution will help WEBS, in partnership with other local non-profit organizations, expand program opportunities to students in other districts in the county, such as Nestucca and Neahkahnie.
Some of the school-aged educational events we put on include 5th-grade Clamming, 2nd-grade Day at the Bay, 1st-grade Fish and Habitats, and Kindergarten Habitats field trips.
*Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math
WEBS offers FREE learning opportunities throughout the year, covering various natural resource topics, connecting the public to this place through art and history, and incorporating traditional tribal knowledge learning opportunities for youth and the public. Each program encourages safe exploration and respectful use of the local ecosystems.
As we expand programs and grow the organization, additional minds and hands are needed. For the first time, WEBS has additional staff to support our Executive Director. Help us keep our team together!
